I wanted to ask a question on the strategy we use on void raid. But first I now must ask something related to sundays argin raid. For looking at the dkp site i see that only zebarathe must pay for the loot that they get, and all else get free loot even though thwy outbid others for it. Anyone able to help me out here? Or is this one of those elephants in the room.

I dont mind when theres some bs usually, just a game and simply am grateful that you guys let me join yas last winter/spring. But it seems to me that if your gonna do the raiding thing qhy not have A clear rules and B equal enforcement of them across the board. Being a non guildy the rules aint always that clear to me some enlightenment in this regard would be much appreciated.

Now for the actual thing i wanted to discuss: namely, void raid and our second and near successful run at it. So i was in the team with zebarathe rhayzer and forgar and we got along fine. But since ae stun was being done i figured what the hell i will ae nuke as well while keeping an eye and short buffs and some heals on tank of main assist of our teams target. And it seemed to work well. In fact i tracked it on parse, and it seemed that of those trash mobs i topped dps by eleven to twenty percent of mobs hp on all but two ( and i realize that my parsing could be skewed). But it made me think A druid should not be top dpsing, and therefore the others were only single target dpsing apart from pally ar stun, but also B why not all wiz mage and ae capable dpsers in our team dump ae on that phase and get sone real quick?

Anyhow, i know this a rambly post but was always curious why we never take advantage of ae power of casters on raids since i read of it being done in current raids.

Haha, Its because the rest put it on there dkp card to be paid at a later date.  But probably just missed due to exhaustion or something.  I'm sure it will get updated sooner or later.

Because Rapor isn't perfect at DKP.If someone misses out,they post right away.But when they get free loot,they shouldn't have gotten !!!

But any thoughts on void, ae strategy idea on that trash section for the one island? and on ae being used more in similar sections of raids generally? I have been curious about whether or not ae usage would or would not be viable on certain raids for a while now and thought to see what you veteran raiders thought of it based on past experience.
