I am a huge fan of the paranormal, and maybe its me overthinking things and watching shows like Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, Paranormal Activity or whatnot.... But I seriously think something is here.

First, the house was built in 1925, so its old...its been remodeled several times, we sit on bedrock here, as well as have several rivers/streams in the town....(those have been said to be conducive for paranormal activity)

Well let me explain before I give you all fuel for perpetual teasing...LOL


I hear things like the Screen door shutting (and both are shut and locked when Sean isnt home). I have heard a sneeze....and it didnt come from me, all three pets are sound asleep. I have seen things like faces in the late evening (including while Im raiding. If I suddenly go quiet, especially after one of my livelier moments, Ive seen/heard something). The two cats go apeshit from time to time running from room to room like they are looking for something thats pissed them off.



Each time I can come up with something it *might* be, and blow it off as that.

The screen door thing sound, I cannot explain. They are tight and do not move with the wind when shut. I at first thought it might have been a branch overhead scraping against the house, but even in the strong winds we get here, not a single branch actually makes contact with the structure....so thats not it.

The sneeze....could have been from someone outside....unlikely at 2am, but it could have been.

The faces....yea ok....my imagination going wild.

But whats pissing the cats off? If its a mouse, they just go after it until its devoured or they have lost interest. and they dont usually run from room to room growling/meowing at a mouse....they are usually quiet and stealth-like.





Perhaps its time to get the old digital recorder out and strike up my own *experience*? Im not in the least bit scared. Curious? yes! Excite that perhaps there might be something there....oh HELL Yes...!!

Anyone else ever dealt with something like this?

Not me - well, if you count out that one time years ago when i was playing EQ, then for some odd reason i was looking at my floor, and like 10 seconds later a spider comes crawling over the doorstep...yah. Or that one time i was overtaking a Truck, and somehow was focusing on one of his rear tires seconds before it blew up. Precognition or just coincidence ? Who knows for sure...

And regarding the door sound, i believe the house is not only very old but also made mostly ouf of wood right ? Daytime / Nightime temperatures might cause that sound, maybe ?

I thought of that too...and I have lived in old houses before, there is a distinctly different sound between wood expanding and contracting, than a sound of an aluminum screen door closing.

and as far as dreams, I have lucid dreams, those are fun sometimes. But the precognitive dreams I dont like. When it happens, I dream of people I know (either know well, or barely know, no difference) but in the dream they either say goodbye,or they get lost....have had six of those in my life, and each one ended up that person passed on. Have not had one of those in about 12 years thank goodness...

Lucid dreams, can be fun once you realize whats going on. I can be dreaming (usually something frightening) and realize while im sleeping, that I am dreaming, and suddenly I become brave and actually interact with the dream...

That I have done since I was a child, and started dreaming of flying. I could control the flight, where I went, who I saw, etc..

Theres other odd things that happen....Like in game I can sense when someone is having a bad day before they even say anything....I can tell you who is calling long before I check the caller ID on the phone with about an 80% accuaracy...

Yea yea ....Im weird....but I am loved for my weirdness!

Regarding dreams, i am unsure. I remember that there were some in my youth which i could "control" to a degree, but at one point in the dream "took over" and shortly afterwards i woke up, mostly scared as heck until i noticed that none of the "demons" that haunted me were about in the real world.

Guess last nights fever dreams when i tossed and turned and my heart was pumping in my throat and i was sweating the hell out of my body can't be classified as such, but they sure were hefty as hell....this also prevented me for to attend the memorial service for Freakbabydoll and Kethor. I hope someone took some photos...

I too thought I had a ghost one time... I heard this unearthly voice coming from my computer, it sounded like talking but I had logged out of vent. Then I realized I had logged in someone else's toon and the EQ voice was turned on, and Kubax was coming out of my headphones. Scared the pants off me!

Seriously tho a few years ago when I was deeply into meditation etc I had lots of "flying" experiences. Some "precognition" as well. I don't think of those as paranormal though. Ghosts nah..don't buy that. Evidence doesn't support it...see how hard folks are investigating that. Not much result.
